From: Combination therapy targeting toll like receptors 7, 8 and 9 eliminates large established tumors
Effect of TLR agonists on the growth of small tumors. 105 CT26 colon carcinoma cells were implanted into the flank of syngeneic BALB/c mice. When the tumors reached ≈ 200 mm3 in volume they were injected with 100 μg of CpG or control ODN and/or 50 μg of 3M-052 or 3M control. Each treatment was repeated 2 days later. Data show the change in tumor volume (mean + SE) of 6–8 mice from 2 independent experiments. *, p < 0.05; **, p <0.01 compared with the control group.
