Combination of IFNα with poly-I:C is a powerful inducer of CXCL10 in bladder cancer lesions in the absence or presence of BCG. Bladder tumors biopsies were cultured for 24 hours in the absence or presence of 10,000 units IFNα + 20 μg/ml specific poly-I:C, with or without BCG (2 × 106 CFU). The levels of CXCL10 and CCL22 in tumor supernatants were measured by specific ELISAs. The results were evaluated using two- tailed, paired Wilcoxon Test. Statistically significant differences between groups are highlighted by * (P < 0.05).
