IL-12 p70 was increased and IL-10 was decreased in the supernatants of the co-cultures of tumor cells and PBMC or purified monocytes in the presence of cetuximab. Supernatants of the PBMC/monocyte + tumor co-culture described above were collected and subjected to measurement of IL-12 p70 and IL-10 by ELISA. Summary data of IL-12 p70 (a) and IL-10 (b) in the supernatants of cultures of PCI15B+ PBMC, JHU029+ PBMC, PCI15B+ purified monocytes and JHU029+ purified monocytes with 10 μg/mL hIgG1 or cetuximab is shown. The graphs present the experiments from 8 different HNSCC patients with new active diseases. Statistical significance was determined by Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed rank tests. *p < 0.05
