  1. T1: single tumor without vascular invasion
  2. T2: single tumor with vascular invasion or multiple tumors, none > 5 cm
  3. T3a: multiple tumors > 5 cm
  4. T3b: tumor involving a major branch of the portal or hepatic vein
  5. T4: tumor with direct invasion of adjacent organs other than gallbladder or with perforation of visceral peritoneum
  6. N0: no regional lymph node metastasis
  7. N1: regionallymph node metastasis
  8. M0: no distant metastasis
  9. M1: distant metastasis
