From: Cytokine release syndrome after radiation therapy: case report and review of the literature
Tumor necrosis factor-α (a), interleukin-6 (b), interleukin-10 (c), and interleukin-1β (d) before and after radiotherapy demonstrate increases in cytokines immediately after radiotherapy while the patient was experiencing fever, tachycardia, dyspnea and rigors. Relatively normal levels of cytokines were noted immediately before radiotherapy and 3 weeks after. Dashed lines represent the upper limit of normal for each cytokine
