CD8 depletion blocks survival advantage from combination radiotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibition. Survival for mice with Myc-CaP tumor grafts treated with anti-CD8a antibody to deplete CD8+ cells. Mice received no additional treatment, anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor alone, XRT alone, or anti-PD-1 in combination with XRT to the leg graft.
