Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes produce Th1 and Th2 cytokines upon mitogenic stimulation. In vitro expanded T cells from VSCC were analyzed for their cytokine production following mitogenic stimulation with 0.5 Ī¼g/ml PHA for 4ā€‰days, after which supernatants were harvested and analyzed by cytometric bead array (CBA) to determine the production of IFN-Ī³, TNF-Ī±, IL-10, IL-5, IL-4 and IL-2 in pg/mL.
